I think all you need is a smaller belt....If the pullies are in line that is? Otherwise new pullies and a smaller belt. I hope that helps! My car had AC and when it was removed a smaller belt was used....in fact two were used...one in each groove. I got rid of the extra one when I got the car. It's in the trunk for an emergency. you could use some rope to figure out the new diameter and match it at a parts store.

: I have a 76 Ford Maverick in which I got tired of replacing power steering hoses which ain't cheap. Bearings were shot in the pump as well. So I pulled the unit and hoses off and found that my fan and water pump ran off my power steering pump. Now what? Guess I'll hit the boneyards this weekend and look for a tensioner pulley or fan with additional pulleys or something.
: Anyone else had this experience?
