The 8" traction locs and the earlier 8" equa-locs are very difficult to find. It would likely be cheaper and easier to find a 9" set-up. I just bought a 9" traction loc center section for 75.00. I doubt you will find an 8" for that kind of money! Some of the other folks on the board can tell you which 9" housings will bolt into the maverick with little or no mods.
