Single or dual plane?

Reading the post below to Charlie,I felt this question warranted a new string,I was going to get a Weind dual plane cause I heard that a single plane on the street wouldn't produce enough low-end grunt.Or does it matter if you have a manual or automatic tranny?Thanks, Arnie.
