arghhh!!!
autozone does not carry one or a compatible one.
is this a "dealer only" type of part, or can a NAPA or a good parts vender get it?
i need one immediately. my throttle cable snapped at the pedal, as i was making a pass.
well.... the car didnt go anywhere, but was still running. just the pedal was laying lame on the floorboard.
i had to speed up the idle, and coast it home at about 15-16 mph. about 2 miles, and in rush hour traffic.
was pretty harrowing, and the other motorist didnt appreciate it...lol

anyway, can someone sell me one, or instruct me of where to go to get one, and a possible parts number.
i know where there is a 73 mustang, in a junkyard. would that cable work, or does it have to be maverick specific?
