Rob This is just an opinion.
I changed over my 75 Grabber 250/C4/2.79 over to a (302/ 268 Comp cam / Holly 600/ AOD.) Went from 17 to 19 mpg with the 6 to 22 mpg with the ac running. I thought with the 6 and the c4 at today's speeds that it was winding a little tight. With the AOD it acts like it's Idling at 55 and not breathing hard at 80. Next trick is to try to put and AOD in the Wifes Mavrick and keep the 6 in it. |
