:Rob This is just an opinion.
:I changed over my 75 Grabber 250/C4/2.79 over to a (302/ 268 Comp cam / Holly 600/ AOD.) Went from 17 to 19 mpg with the 6 to 22 mpg with the ac running. I thought with the 6 and the c4 at today's speeds that it was winding a little tight. With the AOD it acts like it's Idling at 55 and not breathing hard at 80.
:Next trick is to try to put and AOD in the Wifes Mavrick and keep the 6 in itI am curious of how much difficulty u ran into when installing the AOD. I mean there are some issues I aint to sure about. Are u running dual exhaust? Was there a a need to change the flywheel, did the starter work ok, bla bla bla. ?/ Lemme know what diffs u had when u get a minute!
