HI im about to convert my power steering system to manual steering and i have a few questions. I read in a post earlier that i need to get a center link, tie rod ends, pitman arm and manual steering gear box. first question are all manual steering parts the same, can i use parts from different year cars or are they all different?
What is the pitman arm and where is it located? is there some kind of puller needed to get the power cylinder off or am i just not pulling hard enough? has anyone heard of (or better yet tried) the PVE(power valve elimenator) its made by Rare parts i think? Hot Rod magazine intalled one on a mustang it cost about $175 and looked really easy.
sorry about the long post i had alot of questions
thanks Justin
