which 302?

I've been considering swapping out my 250 for a 302, so the first thing I did was go to the junkyards to price out a 302. The guys there said the 302s they have are from mustangs, rangers etc. and all are fuel injected, and that would be a problem to fit.
I personally would rather not have anything to do with the fuel injected engines but I thought TBI could just be replaced with a carb?
Are the later 302s TBI or Multi-point?
In short, which 302 should I be looking for?
