how are mavericks better than mustangs

I'm not sure if I want to keep my 73' grabber, I joined the Air Force and they'll ship it wherever I go. Kinda cool. I just wonder if I should sell it to a friend for a freaking lowsy $500(which will kill me due to the time, effort and money in her) and buy a mustang or even a *gasp* chevy. So i wonder how are mavericks better than mustangs? They are lighter, cheaper to insure and an attention grabber (pun intended). let me know, the fate of an orange grabber lies at stake.
