Engine Dilema??

I am in sore need of a new engine. I just lost my job. The engine sounds like a tractor when it is not warmed up for 15 minutes. Even after you drive somewhere and just leave it for 5 or 10 minutes it sounds horrible. I know that I am getting close to having a car that doesn't run. I also am replacing the ball joint, control arm, and idler arm on one side with an alignment for $250, good price? It is making this clunking sound if you turn to far to the left. I hope that the new parts will fix this, any idea if it will or what might be causing it? Does anyone know of anyone who is selling an engine for dirt cheap? Thanks
