It's going to be a long slow process to undo the damage done to my lady.
The biggest concern I have is "where the F*** did my parts go?" When I bought the doner car he said he wanted the engine (fine, as he already had one for me) as it was a boss 302.
BUT!!!!!!!
The comet looks like it's been gutted. no motor mounts, no pumps, pads ect ect.
I paid him good money to drop in a 302 and I am SICKENED....
I had given him a list (GAWD I wish I still had it) of what to do in order of priority.
It went:
Swap out 200 for 302
Bucket seats from the comet
floorshifter (ditto)
Spoiler and deck lid from comet (grabber parts)
door swap (from comet)
Dents and dings
What I have:
Engine out (after 8 months)
tranny out
(emply engine compartment!)
some body work (will need to be rust proofed ASAP!)
tailights removed
decklid replaced, endcaps removed:ditto spoiler
rear bumper removed
grill stuffed into back seat
MY grabber hood stuffed into chicken coop
chrome trim removed from windshiled, weather stripping toasted
wiper arms mising
box of fluids (6qts oil, 5 qts tranny fluid, oil filter, antifreeze)
all missing
front stereo speakers stuffed into trunk (my CD faceplate is somewhere!)
along with a plastic bag full of bolts
car is stuffed into the woods next to his house with a tarp full of beer cans and other junk.
A doner car that has been stripped of most everything I would need for the swaps.
Seats are rotting and probably useless by now.
SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
