Today the Grabber was doing some weird crap.At idle it surges,and idles high again,and when I turn my headlights on it cuts off like I turned the ignition off.Some one told me my vacuum advance is bad or is for a car with a two barrel carb.Also can't figure out the timing,thats what I think it is.I have a 600cfm Holley double pumper w/mech. secondaries on a stock engine other than dual Flowmasters.What is the proper timing for a 72 302 V8?Or could it be something else?I don't have a choke plate on it yet either,it's on the way.Also purchasing a book on tuning Holley 4150 carbs.

P.S.There's a 1" spacer plate under the carb that had a vacuum port for PVC but is plugged off now due to the fact that I deleted the PCV valves and put in some valve cover breathers.
