in response to your post to paulie down below concerning the mII swap. i have studied this quite a bit and crunched a lot of the numbers. the falcon and the maverick are not the same frame width. to do this conversion on a maverick and have the correct track width on the front end, approximately 3 inches would need to be welded into the middle of the mII crossmember. then you would have to go get a steering rack off of a fairmont/zephyr to make up for the width because the mII pinto racks are too narrow. i think this would be a very cool swap and i plan to do it within the next year or so on my 72 grabber. i just thought i'd throw in my 2 cents............
