i6 to v8 conversion

I changed out a 250 for a 302 in a 75 Comet, had to shave the frame stiffener on the shock tower to fit the v8; car ran great for 4-5 months, but now right side frame is flexing and allowing front tires to "fold" under car. Anyone do this before? Any suggestions on how to stiffen the frame now? email at w_maddox@hotmail.com Thanx, madwil
