:I changed out a 250 for a 302 in a 75 Comet, had to shave the frame stiffener on the shock tower to fit the v8;
:car ran great for 4-5 months, but now right side frame is flexing and allowing front tires to "fold" under car.
:Anyone do this before?
:Any suggestions on how to stiffen the frame now?

..Why did you do that? These cars had the v8 as an option. Even with aftermarket headers on a 302 there was no need to cut anything! Now you need to have a cross bar fabed (top of shock towers) to get the towers back to stock location then weld support back into that area so front end alignment can be brought back to spec.. In addition there is a cross bar that goes side to side under the engine that should have been installed.
Good luck,Ken
