they can add the weight that's not a problem. If you're using a C-4 the bolt pattern for the converter should be ok, if a AOD I believe the converter bolt pattern is differnet. Even new 50oz flexplates don't cost much and you can still find them on EBAY for a good price.


:I am gonna need to change/modify my flex plat to a 50oz imbalance when i swap in my roller motor. I am assuming they add weight? anyone know what exactly i am gonna need done. I am gonna go get a flexplate from a old 302 which i guess is at 27oz or so. What do i need em to have done and what will it cost in a ball park figure?
