yeah I know. man that sucks. I guess that's the way to go though. anyone have a rough guess as to how much this is gonna hurt my pocket?
:Sorry Nick, there is no such animal that would cover the cowl vents. If you plan on keeping your car just think of it as a wise investment and find a good dependable body shop that is willing to go in and repair your vents for you. If you'll read through the old messages you'll get some ideas because that topic has been brought up more than once. The only true way to get rid of the problem forever though is to plan on a little surgery for your baby and get rid of the cancer once and for all. It's not an easy job but very worthwhile.

::hey. I have some leaking cowl vents. I needed to buy a new grabber hood anyways and will probably and up with a fiberglass one... I was wondering if I couldn't get a hood that would cover the cowl vents instead and avoid tearing the car apart. would this work? would it effectively cover the cowl and keep most water out? what does everyone think?
